Three generations of the Crane family were on hand to help play the role of Santa & his helpers at Fun in Action's Christmas Party held at Whitehawk Community Centre on Sunday 7th December.
Long-term Fun befriender, Ralph Crane, played Santa, gamely supported by his two step-sons ('Happy' & 'Grumpy') dressed as Elves. And his baby granddaughter even joined in the fun, playing her part dressed up as a small reindeer!
The gift from Santa was the climax to the party for well over 50 local children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Beforehand they enjoyed a pizza lunch and were treated to the wacky entertaining skills of local juggler extraordinaire, Nathan Zorchak.
The party's disco was supplied by Capital International who have generously adopted Fun in Action as their charity of the year. Fun's Project Manager, Anne McClaren, paid tribute to Capital's support and also thanked the charity's huge team of volunteer befrienders for their ongoing work.
