On Sunday 20th March students at Cranleigh School on the Surrey / Sussex border came together to complete a 10K charity walk partly in aid of Fun in Action. Fortified by sausage and bacon sandwiches prior to departure, over 150 boys, girls, mums, dads, brothers, sisters and dogs set off round the Surrey Hills in aid of three charities close to the Cranleigh School community. All made it round safely and the final sum raised will be in excess of £2,000.

Jon Carr, Fun in Action's Chair, said of the students' achievement, "It means so much to us that you chose to support a local charity and what is extra special is that the students of Loveday and West chose one that benefits other children. We were very touched by this. I can assure you that every penny of your money will go towards helping to provide disadvantaged children in Brighton with better opportunities in their lives and a chance to experience things they might not otherwise get to do."
