Facilities:

Friendly chickens, ducks, spotted pigs and donkeys, playful rabbits and guinea pigs. There are timed events throughout the day, including the Jersey cows being milked each afternoon!

There is also an outdoor playground and a hay play barn, a nature trail around the farm and a picnic area in addition to the café and shop.

How to get there:

Situated on the A27, 4 miles east of Lewes and 7 miles west of Eastbourne, between the turnings to Ripe and Selmeston.

The nearest railway station is 2 miles away at Glynde, on the Lewes to Eastbourne line. Bus No. 125 starts at Barcombe and passes us via Lewes, Monday to Friday. Bus No. 25 starts at Lewes and passes Middle Farm, en route to Alfriston, on Saturdays only, see travelline for details.

Friendly working farm.
Not quite as much space here as at Spring Barn Farm which is why I would tend to favour the latter (especially if you have a child that likes running!). However, Middle Farm is a bit more intimate so children can see cows being milked, pet the llamas and donkeys etc. Also has a nice little cafe which does quite cheap, healthy lunch boxes for kids.
