FUN was answering the questions recently, as BBC Southern Counties Radio interviewed one of our parents, and a befriender Derek Hayes. FUN's representatives were discussing the impact of poverty on families in Brighton & Hove and how the charity's work is making a difference to the lives of children across the city, in the run up to BBC Children in Need.

In addition, Brighton's community station Radio Reverb invited Derek onto their "Mum's the Word" show, to talk about his befriending experience and the work of the charity.

All this excellent radio work has encouraged a number of people to contact us, including local businesses who want to offer fundraising help. A big thank you to all involved.
